Champion Hemp Farms is homesteaded in the picturesque Laurel Highlands of Western Pennsylvania. The 20-acre farm experiences hot wet summers and crisp warm autumns– the ideal ecosystem for hemp growing and harvesting.
Our farm honors the region’s hemp growing history, as Western Pennsylvania was once a hotbed for the nation’s hemp growing industry before the crop was outlawed in the 1930s.
SUSTAINABLE FARMING
Our CBD hemp flower is sun-grown using sustainable farming methods. The farm uses natural spring-fed irrigation from a water source on the property. We go beyond organic methods of farming with soil regeneration and an organic nutrient fertigation system. We find that these farming practices produce the best CBD hemp flower while also maintaining the natural balance of our local ecosystem.
CULTIVATION METHODS
We like to keep it simple. Much of our cultivation follows the guise of the pre-prohibition hemp farming techniques from the early to mid 20th century. To prepare our field we used a circa 1940 John Deer tractor with 1930s disc and harrow implements. We also used our own farm-constructed field drags prior to planting. We moved a bit further into the future with a vegetable planter from the 1960s that we used to transplant our hemp seedlings into the field.
GREENHOUSE OPERATIONS
Our seeds, seedlings, and clones are grown on-site in the boutique greenhouse that we built with the help of local Amish farming experts. Our greenhouse is conservatively scaled so all plants and seeds receive the attention they need to thrive. Stay tuned in for our clones, seedlings, and hemp genetics for the 2022 growing season.

All our limited-run CBD products are hand-extracted using only the safest and most trusted full-spectrum methodologies. Our CBD products contain only non-GMO and organic ingredients.
